Rohaan drops his ‘Bleach’ LP on Mad Zoo
Diverse UK producer Rohaan, has been making waves the last few years with releases on a wide range of labels such as Deadbeats, Circus Records, Jadu Dala and Saturate Records to name a few. Broken beats to drum & bass have landed him collabs with heavy hitters like Noer The Boy, Holly, Duke & Jones, Laxcity and more. Rohaan’s prolific style and aversion to any one genre have seen him moving quickly through the electronic music world. Playing shows from Berlin to London to Amsterdam has gained him support and nods from the likes of High Contrast, Tsuruda, DJ Craze, Noisia, Herobust, UZ, Nest HQ, Run The Trap and more.
Now Rohaan has been signed up by Mat Zo for his Mad Zoo imprint, and he gets set to release his debut album ‘Bleach’.
Spanning multiple styles this concise collection of super fresh productions showcases Rohaan’s unique take on drum & bass and sound design. From the flickering tech of ‘People Of Eve’ to the 4/4 thump of ‘City Of Ezra’ and downright dirty vibes of ‘Traffic’, ‘Bleach’ is a mighty debut that makes a very big mark in a small amount of time.
Today we premiere ‘I Found You’ which starts of with sonar bleeps building into the drums and a really low bassline, queue the topline and rolling drum patterns, this is steppy, roller goodness. The entire album is really well crafted, the future looks good for Rohaan.
Rohaan’s ‘Bleach’ album drops on Mad Zoo and is out now on Bandcamp and all other platforms on 1st May so make sure you grab it from here
