Rebel Music set to release ‘Rebel Alliance’ EP

Share

Celebrating Rebel Music‘s 10th release in their inaugural year, the ‘Rebel Alliance’ EP sees a mix of current and future artists combine for the labels first Various Artist project. Incorporating 7 tracks the compilation showcases various styles of Drum & Bass while still staying true to the Rebel Music flavour.

‘Rebel Alliance’ EP has already been gaining massive support from the likes of LTJ Bukem, Randall, DJ Marky, Calyx & Teebee, Arkaik, Survey, Digital, Rene La Vice, Klute and many more.

Today we premiere ‘Summon The Spirit’ (Kung Fu) from Rebel Music HQ’s head honcho OB1 who began his career in 1994 when he started playing on various London radio stations. He later started working for Metalheadz, Virus, Prototype, Valve and Infrared during the latter part of the 90’s…the golden age of DnB. This culminated in managing the Metalheadz Label, Tours and Club nights.

From there he went on to be a resident at the legendary Metalheadz Sunday Sessions and released as an artist on the label. He has collaborated with DJ Kontrol and Calyx and has had a number of tracks featured on DJ Mix compilations including Andy C’s ‘Nightlife 2’, Chase & Status’s ‘Bingo Sessions Vol.3’ and DJ Frictions ‘Big Bad Bass.

The ‘Rebel Alliance’ is released on 28th October via Rebel Music. You can check out ‘Summon The Spirit’ (Kung Fu) below and grab a copy of the EP from here
