Premiere: The Prototypes – Electric (Softmore remix)

Since launching their own imprint Get Hype Records during the summer of 2016, The Prototypes have been jumping from strength to strength. From DJ shows across the globe and their very own sold out London boat party, to ‘Best Newcomer Label’, ‘Best Video’, ‘Best Track’ and ‘Best Remix’ nominations in the D&B Arena Awards, Chris and Nick have been working as hard as ever. Having already featured new artists Glitch City, Des & Consouls on the label, The Protos now take back control to kick off 2017 with their brand new single ‘Electric’.

Intro intro! A set opening favourite with the likes of Friction, the riff-heavy ‘Electric’ drops hard with all the hallmarks of a certified dance floor banger, a Prototypes tour-de-force. Adding to the package Brighton’s Far Too Loud comes with a massive electro house take whilst the burgeoning Softmore re-jigs ‘Electric’ into the perfect bassline 4/4 roller for our debut transmission.
