Premiere: Menesix – Toma

After his release with Max Kernmayer ‘Shake The Floor’, OVRDOSE head honcho MENESIX returns with a Brazilian tribal tech-house track that will surely keep you dancing the night away! And, what some of you might not know, is his roots lay in Brazil.

Banging drums, crispy hats, menacing vocals and the use of a Cuica, an Brazilian percussion, are really giving a great flow to the track. Surely this tune will be heard all around the world and is definitely a must have track for any DJ set. Also scheduled for release which we mentioned the other day on Data Transmission is OVRDOSE Vol 1.0, which is a new V.A. with artists like DJOKO, Rich Pinder, Pinto (NYC) and MENESIX himself of course and as we mentioned before joining this already impressive roster of artists for the V.A, are newly found OVRDOSE team members V.I.O and Mistrix.

So keep an eye out for future releases on this Amsterdam based record label as they are ready to take the scene by storm!

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
