Premiere: Lisa Sharred & Paul Lawrence – What I Need

House of Bangerz are delighted to introduce you to their new ‘Five To Vibe To’ series, in which they showcase one of a kind, off kilter tunes, that are guaranteed to keep dancefloors moving.

Evening Officer kick this sampler off with a quirky, bass heavy track that is sure to get dancefloors moving. The Australian duos’ unorthodox treatment of synths and vocals on ‘Let It Roll’ is truly something else. Blaise & Faruk Orakci jump in with a classic Tech House stomper, that shines in it’s simplicity. ‘Just Talkin” connects classic house chords with trappy snares, a filthy bass pattern and solid vocals. Young Brazilian artist Dokka switches things up and provides us with a hypnotic – straight to the point banger ‘Aisha’ will be in your head all day.

Our debut transmission comes from Lisa Sharred & Paul Lawrence, who contribute with ‘What I Need’. Frankly, all we can do when listening to this song is pull a dirty, daft face. The track combines a delightful, chunky drum pattern with a mono, glidy synth, that gives us that Westcoast feeling.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
