Pornbugs & Frink tap into the deeper end on Sublease Music with ‘Awareness Raising’, and we’re premiering it on Data Transmission today.
Pornbugs are back on Sublease Music, linking once again with Spanish producer Frink for a cut that keeps things stripped, rolling and locked in. ‘Awareness Raising’ is all about tension through restraint, with a reduced groove, soft-edged textures and just enough movement in the rhythm to keep it breathing. It’s one for the heads, the afters, and those proper late-night moments when the room is still moving but nobody’s rushing.
There’s a calm confidence to this one. No big drama, no cheap tricks, just a groove that slowly pulls you further in.
Elsewhere, ‘Emergence’ opens things up slightly, adding more shape to the rhythm while keeping that same understated feel, while Deeplomatik’s remix tightens the low-end and gives it a bit more push for peak-time sets without losing the mood.
