Paris Brightledge – It’s Alright (House Of Virus Dub Remix)

Acclaimed house duo House Of Virus have announced Anthems, a 10-track remixes compilation featuring some of the biggest names in electronic music.

House Of Virus is the musical partnership of Manchester based Dirty Orkestra and Lithuania’s Virus J, a prolific DJ/production duo whose immaculate approach to house music production has garnered them a varied range of A-list fans, from Carl Cox to Paul Oakenfold and Bob Sinclair to Shadow Child. At the core of this partnership resides a genuine love and appreciation for quality house music forged during their respective careers. This is a borne out by their releases: records that simultaneously nod to the past while looking to the future.

Their latest project is Anthems: 10 remixes of some of the best-loved house records of all time, all of which have been reimagined by House Of Virus in their trademark style. Remixed records include Inner City’s classic ‘Good Life’, and an epically uplifting, Terese’s euphoric ‘Put Em High’, and a huge, piano-led version of Marshall Jefferson’s genre-defining ‘Move Your Body’. Our Debut Transmission today is Paris Brightledge’s ‘Alright is transformed into a rolling, tech-house stomper, while Will Gold vs Reworker Rotbot – itself a remix of Liquid’s ‘Sweet Harmony – is given a breakdown of epic proportions.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
