Nurve returns with ‘Take Me’ Ft. Aria

Share

For Nurve Music‘s 6th release, head honcho Nurve goes into full-blown dancefloor destroyer mode with ‘Take Me’ as he teams up with fellow Education & Bass tutor, Aria.

Nurve is a guy that needs little to no introduction. He has been on the Drum & Bas scene since 1996 when he got his first set of decks. Two years later, he was playing at legendary parties such as Hysteria, Helter Skelter, Pure-x, One Nation, Dreamscape and Slammin’ Vinyl to name but a few under the name Raffa D. He then went on to play around with productions, trying his hand at many different genres. He’s had a number of monikers over the years including Demon as part of Macabre Unit.

He is a self-proclaimed multi-genre artist who makes whatever he wants and does it at the highest level. In recent times, he hooked back up with long-time friend Nomine aka Outrage and they have worked on many projects together such as releases, tracks, music education events and most notably the Education & Bass online music production school.

Aria is known for lending her soft vocal talents to electronic music mainly within the genre of Drum & Bass. However, recently there has seen a shift for Midlands-based Aria’s music from a featuring vocalist to a producer within her own right.

In the past, Aria has featured on tracks that have been released with Rogue Beatz, Audio Addict Records and Broken Trax, working with a number of different producers and although future collaborations are already in progress, the move to writing and production is looking to bring a multitude of new opportunities for Aria and her live show.

‘Take Me’ is a Reese bass driven track with Aria providing stunning but haunting vocals. From the outset, this track builds up with a simple 4 note monotonous melody which is surrounded by lush vocals and ultimately ends up at an absolute beast of a drop. This one is designed to make your hair stand on end.
