Nicolas Taboada drops his ‘Future’ EP on Strange Idols Recordings

Share

Born and raised in Buenos Aires in Argentina, Taboada is one of the newly-bred producers and DJs helping to shape the techno underground with music on labels like Drumcode, Unrilis, Prospect, Hypnostate & Factory 93.

Now he makes his debut on Strange Idols with Future which kicks off here with rock-solid kick drums and dark, driving techno synths. It’s a moody and atmospheric cut that will cause plenty of damage in the club.

The System then has more rumbling bass and trance-tinged synths along with plenty of acid details and dark vocals that make it a peak time monster. The Future (Tiger Stripes Remix) closes out with lush and warm synths that surge and pulse over the rolling drums and make for an escapist trip.

This is another top-notch outing from all.

We premiere ‘The System’ on NUDE Techno, check it out here and grab it on Beatport.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
