Milton Shadow drops ‘On You’ on HouseU

Milton Shadow drops ‘On You’ on HouseU today, and we’ve got the premiere.

HouseU keep it tight, and bringing Milton Shadow back into the fold makes sense. He’s been on a roll. Wh0 Plays, Phoenix Music, House Heads, and steady chart movement to match. Dennis Ferrer, David Penn, Joris Voorn, Mark Knight, Steve Angello. The support speaks for itself.

Milton Shadow’s ‘On You’ does what he does best. Driving house drums. A bassline that swings without overcomplicating things. Filtered disco touches woven through the groove. It feels built for warm rooms and open-air terraces, when the floor is locked, and nobody’s checking their phone.

The vocal sits right where it needs to. Catchy, but not pushy. It lifts the hook and keeps the momentum moving without breaking the flow. DJs will find space for this one, early doors or peak, depending on how you frame it.

Another solid chapter from the French producer, and another smart move from HouseU.

Milton Shadow’s ‘On You’ is out now. We’re premiering it here on Data Transmission. Stream it, test it, and grab your copy today.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
