Brazilian producer Malifoo touches down on Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars this week with ‘Acid Britney’, landing March 6 and built for late-night floors.
Behind the alias is Eduardo Berenguer, a seasoned producer whose catalogue stretches across Sony Music, Armada and Spinnin’, alongside work in his Lenx & Denx project. The Malifoo name leans tougher, sharper, and firmly aimed at the dancefloor.
‘Acid Britney’ does exactly what the title hints at. Punchy tech house drums drive the groove while squelchy acid lines weave through chopped vocal snippets. The bass sits warm and weighty underneath, keeping everything locked for those sweaty basement moments when the crowd is fully dialled in.
It is playful, a little cheeky, and perfectly at home on Repopulate Mars, a label that rarely misses when it comes to peak time club records.
We’ve got the premiere of Malifoo’s ‘Acid Britney’ below.
Turn it up and grab it on Beatport from March 6.
