Kreature combines Sizeup on the ‘Open Return’ EP
Seb Zito welcomes Kreature and Sizeup to his increasingly popular Seven Dials Records imprint with a bass-heavy two tracker titled ‘Open Return’ to keep the floors moving this summer.
Kreature is a name known to many in the scene with a slew of heavy-hitting releases on labels like Solid Grooves, Revival NYC, PIV, Moan and Do Not Sleep. Sizeup is equally no stranger to many, which stems from his releases on Hot Creations, Material, and PIXELATE. Together they have been supported by a who’s who of the scene including Nic Fanciulli, Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Shadow Child, Jamie Jones and many more.
For their debut release on Zito’s Seven Dials they have produced a bass heavy two tracker of minimal deep tech which is guaranteed to keep the floor busy this summer. The title and lead track on the EP is ‘Open Return’. Utilising stripped-back shuffling beats combining with a garage-infused bass line and spin backs around the drops, this is a track that will have those underground bass heads smiling in delight and throwing shapes on the floor.
The second track is ‘Bring It In’ which has an energetic bouncing bass line combining with the stripped back beat arrangement, which allows the bass to really push through and drive the track forward. The pair throw in some more garage-infused ear kandi and some well-placed chords to set the groove alight and create something that will get your eyes closing and losing yourself into the hypnotic groove.
We premiere ‘Open Return’ on Data Transmission, check it out here and grab it on Beatport.
