Killed Kassette & M.F.S: Observatory team up for ‘Freak It’ EP

Share

Killed Kassette & M.F.S: Observatory continues to make their mark with a new EP on the Roush label. It features one of their essential singles and a remix from Mark Jenkyns.

This Italian pair of longstanding friends Mattia Turchetti and Francesco Cozzolino run their own Observatory Music label and have also remixed Maya Jane Coles for Skin, played all over Europe and continue to impress with this new single.

Killed Kassette started out with productions in 2013 and has signed to Kevin Saunderson’s KMS imprint, Shanghaied and has remixed for artists like Chez Damier and Roland Clark.

Mark Jenkyns is a name who has appeared on plenty of the day’s finest labels and his remix ups the ante with even harder hitting drums. The stabs are bigger, the vocals more urgent, and the whole thing is sure to wreck the floor.

Check out Mark’s remix below and grab a copy here.

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
