Ki Creighton & Geovanni Keep It Moving With ‘Easy’ on Under No Illusion

Ki Creighton returns to Under No Illusion with Geovanni for the ‘Easy EP’, landing with three summer-ready cuts built for busy floors.

The yearly Ki Creighton label drop has become a bit of a marker, and this one does the job properly. Across the EP, the pair keep things direct, grooving and firmly pointed at the booth.

We premiere Ki Creighton & Geovanni’s ‘Easy’, the lead track and a peak-time percussive roller with a burning bassline, steadfast kicks and a vocal line that gets in quick and stays there. Add those long synth rises, and you’ve got a tried-and-tested weapon for rooftops, basements and those sweaty warehouse bits where nobody is checking the time.

Elsewhere, ‘Feeling’ leans sun-soaked and heads-down, with the vocal riding over fast-paced drums and a low-slung groove. ‘Your Love’ closes things out with a disco-infused touch, smooth, lifted and full of house warmth.
