JC3 remixes Solution 99’s ‘I Need You’

Share

Solution 99, aka Robbie Brandon, had his debut release in February with Kondukter Records, and has also had a recent release on Chill Records back in May.

With a wide range of inspiration from disco, to lo-fi House, to Detroit techno, his Horizon EP looks to expand, evolve, and push his sound while also preserving some true nostalgic feelings. It is about raw emotion and seeing the beauty in creating.

‘Emerald’ and ‘I Need You’ are both songs inspired by where he comes from and the connection with his personal place in time & space here in Detroit. The remix from PITS founder John Joseph’s android alter ego, JC3, provides a bit of extra bump to let it burn on the dance floor.

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
