Italobros announce this ‘Pushing’ EP on Monday Social Music

Share

Beginning 2022’s third quarter, Monday Social welcomes Italobros back to the label for a new EP.

Hailing from Italy, DJ/producer duo Italobros first emerged over a decade ago with a club-friendly sound which quickly found favour with Black Coffee, Hot Since 82 and more. Knee Deep In Sound, Saved and Toolroom have served as landing spots for the duo along the way, with two projects for Monday Social highlighting what was a hugely successful 2021.

Continuing to build a bond with the American imprint, Italobros now land back on the label with a vocal-infused dance floor jam entitled ‘Pushing’. Buzzing basslines and lively percussive arrangements set the course for an evolving, funk-infused vocal narrative which is sure to send your dance floor into a frenzy. Meanwhile, on the companion piece ‘Together’, the duo continue their high-octane style with siren-like loops, chattery vocal edits and barrel-busting grooves.

Rounding out the release with the lone interpretation of ‘Pushing’ are Juan (AR) and Marko Zalazar. Having made their label debut last year with a remix of ‘Paradiso’, the Italobros chart topping Monday Social debut single, Juan and Marko now make a welcome return to the label, transforming ‘Pushing’ into a hypno-percussive jaunt that’s nicely suited for mid-set action.

We premiere ‘Pushin’ on Data Transmission, check it out here and grab it on Beatport.
