Ilario Alicante invites Argentina’s Sergio Saffe to Sound D’Elite as he unveils his latest EP, ‘Sigridd’.

Based in Còrdoba and resident at the city’s renowned institutions La Fábrica and Basement Club, Argentinian DJ/producer Sergio Saffe has been showcasing his dynamic take on house music via labels such as Stefano Noferini’s Deeperfect and Wheats’ BOX RED, with key support from leading names in Loco Dice, Jamie Jones, Paco Osuna and Michael Bibi. Heading to Ilario Alicante’s recently minted Sound D’Elite imprint and building on a busy start to the year, he reveals a pair of bubbling productions across his ‘Sigridd’ EP.

Rumbling and driving, the title cut, ‘Sigridd,’ combines zipping samples and glitchy textures under hooky female vocals to deliver an impactful dancefloor production already in rotation for Marco Carola. Meanwhile, ‘Be Wise’ merges a funky bassline, spiralling lead lines, and further murky vox samples to keep things simmering.

Sergio Saffe ‘Sigridd’ EP drops via Sound D’Elite on 26th April 2024.

We premiere ‘Sigridd’ on Data Transmission, check it out here and grab it on Beatport.
