Hyde drops his ‘Achin’ EP via SOUP NYC

Share

Hyde has announced his new two-track EP, titled ‘Achin’ EP via one of our favourite labels, New York based SOUP NYC.

Hyde, formerly known as Ricky Survive, is a recognized techno and house producer based out of New Jersey, USA. Hyde’s unique twist on the house and techno genres is influenced by the sounds of Michael Bibi, Latmun, and Eddy M.

His abilities to merge old-school hip-hop, R&B, and disco with techno and house has led to an abundance of diverse releases and spontaneous DJ sets that always bring high energy and groovy vibes.

He’s got a busy 2022 in the works with forthcoming releases on Circus Recordings + more.  He makes his debut on SOUP with his Achin’ EP, two Hip Hop tinged tracky Tech House cuts aimed squarely at the dancefloor.

We premiere ‘Achin’ on Data Transmission, check it out here and grab it on Beatport.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
