Heider returns to My Techno Weighs A Ton

Share

Heider, one of the minds behind the Italy based label and party NØID. He returns to My Techno Weighs A Ton with his double a-side ‘Energy / Open Up’.

The Label says “Italian NØID family founder Heider is our friend. We get to chat every now and then on how the industry works, how to land those sweet Spotify playlist placements and why pasta is a great entrée, not a main dish.”

He’s already debuted on the label with his seminal ‘Ma Foos‘ track on West Coast Weighs A Ton vol. 1, (vol. 2 coming this summer). Regular Data Transmission readers will know he has been pumping out quality tunes via Club Sweat & Box of Cats respectively.

And here he comes with his solo release of stripped-back tech-house flavours, with enough energy (nice) to get the party going. Jackin, groovy, bouncy beats, cheeky vocals, someone might even use the term sexy for these tunes. We premiere ‘Energy’ for you today, check it out below and grab it here or on Bandcamp. Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
