Emery Bex’s ‘Hauslove’ EP: Four-to-the-Floor Fire on Under No Illusion

Share

Heads up, house heads. Emery Bex’s ‘Hauslove’ EP is the kind of release that doesn’t ask for permission; it just storms the booth and takes over.

We’ve had eyes on Emery Bex for a minute now. A low-key weapon in the underground, he’s been bubbling across dancefloors and inboxes under various guises, but this is the debut proper—and it bangs.

Out August 1st via Under No Illusion, the Hauslove EP is a straight-up dancefloor detonation. Four tracks, no fillers, pure vibe.

The title track, ‘Hauslove’, leads the charge, and we’ve got the premiere. It’s a late-night groover dripping in disco sweat and basement soul. Think looping velvet samples, a cheeky spoken word hook, and a bassline that doesn’t quit. It’s the kind of tune that makes you look around the dancefloor and realise… yep, this is the moment.

From there, it gets gnarlier. Till Daylight goes full attitude with skippy drums and a swaggering groove. Mmhh Yeahh Ohh rolls out the tribal artillery, all heavy percussion and primal bounce. Then there’s Wimbo, closing things off with sun-drenched Ibiza energy and a vocal that feels like smoke drifting across a terrace at dawn.

This one’s built for rooftops, red lights, and sweaty warehouses.

A debut that doesn’t just promise, it delivers.

Stream the premiere of ‘Hauslove’ below, and grab the full Emery Bex ‘Hauslove’ EP on Beatport this Friday.

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
