Dexta & Pepsi Slammer drop ‘The Heater’ EP
Dexta of Diffrent Music fame and Pepsi Slammer of Dope Plates team up for an absolute tear out 145-155bpm Hardcore / Breakbeat / Jungle EP. ‘The Heater’ EP is first class in production levels.
Dexta (aka. Chris Royle, London) is a DJ, Record Producer and Music Artist. He is responsible for the record label imprint Diffrent Music and has released music on various UK based labels, such as Dispatch Recordings, Flexout Audio, Hospital Records, None60 and SweetBox. He also has his own record shop ‘Disc World‘ where they press their own vinyl and which he runs with Sicknote.
While never strictly keeping the tempo locked into one genre, Dexta is mainly known for spinning an array of ‘Experimental’ Drum & Bass music, covering all bases, and effortlessly blurring any lines/crosses between some of D&B’s loosely related Bass / Breakbeat / Grime / Techno sounds.
Production wise, Dexta is forever experimenting with different styles, sounds and is currently working on a lot of music in different genres.
I can’t tell you much about Pepsi Slammer as it’s an alias for someone and for the moment he still wants to keep his identity secret, but I can tell you he’s a South London based producer and DJ.
