Deltech make their Poker Flat debut with ‘Fool’s Paradise’

Late hours, low lights and plenty of space to move. Deltech lands on Poker Flat Recordings with Fool’s Paradise, a three-track EP shaped by long nights and open-air dancefloors, with Ibiza clearly stamped all over it.

The title track ‘Fool’s Paradise’ is the centrepiece and the one we’re premiering today. A deep, rolling groove sets the pace, while warm percussion and drifting melodic touches slowly lock you in. It’s patient, controlled and built for DJs who like to let records breathe.

‘Enerji’ loosens things up with a more elastic bassline and flickering synths that flirt with euphoria without tipping over. ‘Feel The Beat’ closes things down with clipped vocals, crisp drums and a steady pulse that keeps the focus on the floor.

Out February 13. This one belongs in late sets and long transitions.

Listen to our premiere of Deltech’s ‘Fool’s Paradise’ now, and grab the EP via Poker Flat when it drops.

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
