Be honest, who’s been feeling a little blue this week? Well we feel the same way. It’s cold, wet and the summer seems a world away. But fear not, these meteorically will soon pass and once they do we can’t start making plans for the warmer months. One of the first events to be locked into our bulging schedule will no doubt be burgeoning London based gathering Junction 2, which with stages hosted by Drumcode and The Hydra alongside LWE’s brand, Closer looks set to be one of the capital’s hits of the summer.
Promising to return to a simpler time where the emphasis was on “great sound, high-end production, an attention to detail, extended sets” with no VIP and no plastic tents Junction 2 aims to provide a space for like-minded people to enjoy unadulterated techno.
“I am super excited with the line up and how it’s come together, the Drumcode stage is really representative of where we are now musically and Carl Craig’s live show will be a really special moment,” explains Drumcode boss Adam Beyer. “The Hydra and Closer stages compliment each other really well and offer a little contrast across the event. In my opinion it’s about as on point as you can get for a techno-based line up in 2016.”
The exact location is a closely guarded secret for now but we’ve been told the location “merges natural beauty, green fields, rambling rivers, woodland pathways and hidden enclaves – all dominated by striking industrial features.”
Set to go down Saturday June 4th, more information can be found over at www.junction2.london whilst tickets are available here
