Village Underground presents Trouw

For the first time in the UK the people behind TrouwAmsterdam will be taking over Village Underground London on Saturday 30th November. The Dutch club will be bringing over some of their legendary residents including Tom Trago (live act debut), San Proper (who recently spoke to Data Transmission and delivered the mix below), Job Jobse as well as promoter and founding Trouw member Olaf Boswijk: “Tom Trago is a resident and runs the Voyage Direct label, part of Rush Hour. We’ve got San Proper – one of Amsterdam’s true Rock ‘n’ Roll house legends – he has a  studio in our building. Then we’ve got Job Jobse who’s the new youngster on the block and runs the Life and Death label – and I’ll be DJing too.”    They will be bringing some of the personality and passion which has made its TrouwAmsterdam such a hit. Trouw believes in getting the fundamentals of clubbing right – from the soundsystem through to the lighting and an enviable line-up. Its organic growth has made it one of Europe’s leading clubs.  You can grab tickets from Resident Advisor for £12 +bf  – http://www.residentadvisor.net/event.aspx?524487

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
