July 4th weekend in New York always starts off with a bang and this Independence Day Weekend is no exception. Verboten New York is bringing Sasha’s ‘Last Day on Earth’ boat party to New York with a marvelous lineup that will be a monumental six hours of magnificent sounds. The festivities will take place on the extravagant Hornblower Infinity Yacht on July 5th and boarding at 4pm and setting sail at 5pm from Pier 40.

Verboten brings you another stacked up lineup like they always do with music by Sasha, Ejeca, My Favorite Robot, Brad Miller, and the special guest of the evening, the infamous Carl Craig. The night will surely be fulfilled with perpetual grooves that are relentless throughout the duration of the event atop the spectacular spectacle of a boat that The Infinity Yacht is.

The Hornblower Infinity Yacht was recently remodeled to capture the fearless essence of New York City as it set sails past the grandiose skyline of Manhattan. This beautiful vessel features top-of-the-line food and beverages and a covered sky deck with oversized windows to savor the view. The boat features immaculate lighting, a wooden dancefloor with ample room, and a balcony overlooking the dancefloor.

Sasha is a musician in every sense of the word and has the ability to tap into the human experience and take it on an odyssey of sound. He is not defined by one genre but a multitude of genres ranging from Progressive House to break beat elements to House and Techno, reaching beyond the normal realm and into your emotions. Sasha stays humble although he is clearly an international superstar, he maintains a likeable presence and personality and great sense of humor and it is always a pleasure and joy to be in his existence.  

My Favorite Robot is compiled of Jared Simms, Voytek Karab, and James Teej hailing from Canada. They have become a central part of the global electronic music scene since they first formed in 2002 and started the label in 2008. They collaborated with No19 Music early on and helped build the massively successful Art Department and No19 Music brands into a global beacon for quality electronic music. Their 100th release came out this year with a four-track EP entitled ‘Mirror Image’ that is sure to be heard all over the world.

Brad Miller is a familiar name to the magnificent Verboten line-ups. His wildly successful show “Push The Night” has received worldwide recognition and recently became one of the Top 20 most popular music podcasts on Itunes. There is no stopping Brad as he travels coast to coast with his enriched sound.

Last but not least is the special guest, Carl Craig. One of the originators of Detroit Techno, Carl Craig is known to experiment on the dancefloor. He is an innovator of the worldwide movement and scene approaching techno using inspiration from genres such as jazz and soul amongst many others. His unique style is uplifting and mesmerizing stepping out of the boundaries of the normal Techno sound by remixing styles such as world beat and jazz and being a true connoisseur of the scene and the movement of Techno music.

This is surely to be a remarkable gala that will be celebrated as if it was your “Last Day on Earth” as you cruise into the sunset and capture the magnificent views.
