UK Festival Guide 2017

Share

There is no-one more dedicated than a UK Festival fan. We stand rooted in the rain to see our favourite acts, pitch up tents in questionable fields and often pay through the roof for a weekend away in the middle of nowhere. There is no denying our passion for music and even more so our addiction to the immersive worlds that have engulfed the live music scene. No longer are we stood in our wellies drinking over-priced lager from a plastic cup as someone waves a gigantic flag in front of our face, we have become a part of the festival itself. With so many to choose from and festival season extending from May far into September there is no need to look further abroad.

If you’re like us and once again Summer has creeped around without having sorted that perfect festival plan you always talk about don’t worry. If you’re still at loss of where to spend your days this Summer  we’ve created the Data Transmission Guide to UK Festivals, including our top tips of how to make it through our favourite time of year. And with festivities kicking off this weekend there’s absolutely no time to lose.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
