(playing an exclusive classic house set)
Known by many as the King of Techno, Carl will be taking to the main stage at 51st State this year for a hugely anticipated classic House set. We have no doubt whatsoever that it will be a definite ‘Where you there when?’ moment, one of the most talked about sets of the summer for sure!
Brooklyn’s own Todd Terry is widely regarded as the pinnacle of authentic house music in today’s world, with his coveted blend of bumpy house and vocal jams that tend to send people into a frenzy come festival season. Always an act not to miss on any lineup, Todd knows how to get down!
Western Australia native Greg Packer, known as the revered ‘Dr Packer’ is championed for his amazing edits of many a retro record, his reinvigoration spans across the 70s, 80’s & 90s and his level of creativity can be likened to that of say Mella Dee and Mall Grab in its intention but with a very vintage flavour throughout.
Dimitri From Paris
The Turkish-born, Parisian House & Disco don named Dimitri; there has been a lot of focus on him in recent years due to his 70’s funk and disco sounds, which he compliments perfectly with contemporary house tones. A regular at Defected’s famous Glitterbox parties, Dimi’s sets are like a show in themselves; strap in and enjoy the ride.
Long-time Back to 95 resident, DJ Listener is always a delight to watch and dance to. Flying the flag high for the UK’s devout House & Garage heads; he comes about as natural and raw as they get. Be prepared for chops, cuts, classics and plenty of mixer wizardry that will keep you on your toes!
