Mark your diaries, ready… steady… its Thursday 3rd October, the place you need to be heading for is Fabric, why you ask?  Carl Cox and Jon Rundell’s seminal imprint, Intec Recordings are taking over Room One of fabric,  One of Data Transmission favourite labels over the years with Coxy and Jon taking you through their label’s output. The event follows a year of international programming which has seen the pair break out the extensive back catalogue of their label. Founded by Cox first in 1999 (coincidentally the same year our own club space opened) and – barring a 4 year hiatus from 2006-2010 – the label’s become both a platform for both Cox and Rundell’s own output and other emerging talents alike. Of course there isn’t really an artist around today like Carl Cox: truly one of the founding fathers of techno in the UK. From taking in the influence of Chicago and sound tracking the seminal parties of our era, he has been the back bone of DJ culture ever since maintaining his legendary status. It seems pretty apt then that this night joins our run of standout music on Thursday nights. Oh yes Oh yes, we can’t wait!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
