Ever popular Mancunian festival Parklife returns for a fourth year and has announced its new home to be Manchester’s Heaton Park. This news alongside the confirmed line up that will have reassured fans that although the exact location of the event may be changing  but that their commitment to booking the right artists remains steadfast.

With an eclectic range of artist who are often involved in the curation of the festival it’s easy to see why the Manchester outfit has quickly established itself as one of the North’s premier festivals. Plan B headlines alongside Example but it’s a tad further down the line-up that has got excited here at DT. With the chart cracking Disclosure, Simian Mobile Disco Jessie Ware, AlunaGeorge and Teed further down the roster in addition to more leftfield bookings such as Joey Bada$$ and rising underground stars being showcased by Parklife favorites on specially curated stages it seems there is a lot to shout about. In fact it is the line-ups put together by David Rodigan and Hudson Mohawke that have really grabbed our attention as they aim to shine a spotlight on new talents such as impressive live show of duo TNGHT. All this and mixes from more of your most popular acts such as Benga, Sub Focus, Jaguar Skills and Mark Ronson. With still more additions to come this might just be the best Parklife yet…
