Neighbourhood #11 is hitting Dalston’s Dance Tunnel on Friday 2nd August. Usually residing at Plastic People on a Wednesday, Neighbourhood are trying out something different for this one holding their party on a different day at a different venue. The night is looking rather special with a line up of exciting artists, including a few from the excellent team of Neighbourhood residents.

R&S‘s Blawan is headlining and is sure to deliver a banging set with his own brand of hard Techno. Being naturally gifted on the drums, his sound borrows a considerable amount from this skill, using it fully without caution. Raucous crashes of block percussion almost overshadow the organic wobbles, but turn out to work in complete harmony.

Also appearing on the night are the London techno trio, The Clairvoyants who broadcast on Rinse FM weekly. Cadans, Tasha and Tim Parker will also be playing sets so this one’s definitely a party you don’t want to miss.

Tickets are £5 before 11pm and £10 after. Check out Blawan’s guest mix on The Clairvoyants’ recent Rinse FM show.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
