Mixmag Live Weekender hits Birmingham

textile.jpgThe Mixmag Live Weekender event series comes to Birmingham this August 8th-10th for three consecutive parties!Kicking off the Friday at The Rainbow’s Next Door venue, Zoo Project present a night of top electronic talent, including Pedestrian, Medlar and Youandewan. Blackdot then takeover the rest of the weekend with Dubfire, Apollonia and Scuba heading up a daytime party at the Textile Factory (pictured above) on Saturday, before heading back to Next Door on Sunday for Whyt Noyz and guests.For those seeking a “genuine underground experience not blighted by commercialism”, look no further!Grab yourself a Saturday ticket here and check out the full line-ups below:

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
