European Festival Guide 2018
DOUR FESTIVAL – BELGIUM
11th – 15th JULY
The mighty Dour Festival returns for its 30th edition from 11th till 15th July.
Established in 1989 by Carlo Di Antonio, the Dour Festival is the biggest music and touristic event in the French-speaking part of Belgium. For the last 30 years, the festival found the perfect formula to become one of the most important events in Europe: a unique, and eclectic line up, filled with impressive headliners and – more importantly – a lot of exciting discoveries, a terrain in the heart of the Borinage Terrils and an unsurpassed organisation; all of this for almost 200 000 young music lovers.
This year they have compiled a broad and diverse lineup, combining amazing headliners, discoveries, traditions and a huge diversity. Dour Festival opts for an open, daring and alternative programming, a line up you’ll only see once a year, in one spot. For 5 days, it becomes a melting pot of artists, a place where rockers meet drum’n’bass lovers, where reggae-adepts meet hip-hoppers.
Who’s on the line-up from an electronic point of view? Well, we have Jon Hopkins, Modeselektor, The Chemical Brothers, Soulwax, Paul Kalkbrenner, Benji B, Camo & Krooked, Killbox, Delta Heavy, Umwelt, Noisia, Honey Dijon, Recondite, Dave Clarke, Farrago and loads loads more!
The complete line up per day/stage are available on their website, as well as tickets and accommodation packages head to http://www.dourfestival.eu/en/
