Share

easternbloc.jpg For the first of their events commemorating an epic 30 year existence on Friday 7th February at the Soup Kitchen, Eastern Bloc Records have decided to bring an Italian duo who really leave their mark on all who witness their sets, Analogue Cops. Of course, they are into hardware, true purists of the form recording all of their jams to tape and releasing on vinyl and vinyl only.    2015 will see Eastern Bloc hit the big three oh and in its time has been credited with uncovering a wealth of talent. Richie Hawtin cites them as being the first record shop outside of the US to stock his records and that nose for whats good has carried on right through to now.   Supporting on the night will be current in store record adviser, Means&3rd and the Ten Track mix series boss, Radley.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
