After 4 years and 42 events, DT is proud to announce a new residency at the legendary Brunel Rooms. Once a month they’ll be showcasing some of the best names in bass music. Here’s their first in the series, DT #043 – 6th September 2013, running from 10pm – 4am.

Topping the Beatport charts, Birmingham based DJ & Producer Hannah Wants is recognised as one of the UK’s hottest talents. She’s been rapidly rising through the ranks of the bass music scene and has a hectic schedule including shows in and out of Ibiza all summer and a recent booking for WHP. Although primarily a DJ, Hannah’s solo material has gained support from the likes of Shadow Child, Eats Everything, B. Traits, Kry Wolf, Ben UFO, Chris James, Huxley, Gorgon City, Andi Durrant, Foamo, Marcus Nasty, Andy George & Jaymo, and DJ Q. Hannah’s tracks have also been supported on and received numerous plays on; Radio 1, Capital FM, 1Xtra, Kiss FM and Rinse FM. Also on the night will be MJ Cole needs little introduction. A major influence on UK Garage, he was the first true artist to emerge from the underground Garage scene and achieve a level of mainstream popularity. His debut album, ‘Sincere’ featuring the hit ‘Crazy Love’, has been hailed as a landmark in British Garage. He’s remixed everyone from Goldie, Gwen McRae, Incognito, TLC, Soul II Soul and Lana Del Ray to name a few. His newest productions suggest more than a passing interest in the UK bass music sound as he has been a big influence in putting future garage on the map.

With airplay on Rinse FM & BBC 1Xtra plus gigs in Latvia, Belgium and Germany, Decka Sound (Jack Wallis) hasn’t been having a bad year. The co-founder of 4 Seasons, Bristol doesn’t look like slowing down either with upcoming releases on Discos Dead and Bullet Train Records. The familiar name on DT flyers, Sentiment has been getting about with releases on 902 Music and B.YRSELF (forthcoming). He’s had support from the likes of Artifact and Ben Pearce with bookings coming in fast all over the UK (and abroad) and they’re proud to call him one of their residents. Alongside everyone will be other residents Jack Barnett and Robbie Houldey, Voyager & Bones (DT/Look Out Below) gained a regular slot over a year ago and will be opening the new series at Brunel. The guys continue to make an impact with impressive tune selection. DT founder, Crook will be there fresh from a 4th set at Outlook Festival, Croatia. All this at the cheap price below! Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
