He will be joined by Berlin based disco producer Hunee who ‘eats bumpin’ disco for breakfast, heats up deep jackin’ music for lunch and slows it soulfully down for dinner’. As Bodycode, Alan Abrahams harnesses his desire to “unlock the psyche via the body,” layering tech-funk with wisps of melody, heady effects, and a liberal wash of otherworldly vocal samples. The Just Jack family core Dan Wild & Tom Rio anchor proceedings, hosting this the opening party at Barcelona’s style chic OMM Hotel in the club OMM SESSSIONS. Whilst on Friday 14th June its a meeting of minds as Flux & Just Jack join forces for a boat party of epic proportions. Heading into the night on Saturday 15th June, Flux bring Jimpster, Marcus Worgull, Jonny Cade, Jacques Adda and Aartekt taking over Barcelona’s beach side club Shoko. An almost veteran of the scene, Jimpster‘s passion for the electronic still burns brightly. With an emphasis on the deeper end of electronic house music, but not afraid to stray from the path, Jimpster retains an old school approach. He’s joined by Marcus Worgull, who with productions appearing on esteemed labels Innervisions, DFA, Permanent Vacation and Running Back fusing disco, soul and jazz into something altogether new and cerebral, Marcus’ take on the deeper side of house music as a DJ is something to behold. At 23 years-old Jonny Cade has become a name to watch after his recent appearance on Leftroom. With releases in 2013 on 2020:Vision, Moodmusic and Zombie Soundsystem his star is in the ascendancy. With Jacques Adda and Aartekt holding things down at the party at Barcelona’s incredible beach side Shoko will be quite the closing party.
