3) Malta reggae scene

Centred around Juuls Bar in the bay of St Julian, Malta has a small but thriving reggae scene. A charming rastafarian called Nicky Sultana owns the place and one of the most popular reggae acts in Malta is Mind’s Eye Dub aka M.E.D. The man behind the band is David Magro who was born in Malta in 1969 so they are well worth catching. Here’s a video of a Juuls Reggae Beach Gathering. This is very much an underground movement on Malta and should be cherished.
