Gifta drops ‘Cold Spots’, the lead track on ‘Perspective III’ VA Phase Records DNB

Phase Records DNB is closing the chapter on its flagship trilogy with a proper sendoff. ‘Perspective III’ lands Friday, 25th July, and it is the biggest and boldest yet. Fourteen heavyweight tracks covering the entire scope of dark Drum & Bass energy. This one is for the heads. The lead single from the VA is head honcho Gifta‘s contribution to the release ‘Cold Spots’, which drops this Friday!
The ‘Perspective III’ dark Drum & Bass compilation brings together returning residents and fresh blood, all pushing boundaries in their own way. The aim of these collections has always been to show how deep the sound really goes. Drum & Bass doesn’t just slap in clubs, it resonates in the soul. Every track on this VA has a story to tell and an emotion to hit.
Phase Records DNB is proud to welcome back core family members XYDE, Dapreme, Ominous and head honcho Gifta. These artists have helped define the sound of the label, and their latest cuts are straight weapons. Joining them are two new faces: Kenna and Soltra. Both producers arrive with serious intent, and their tracks are the perfect introduction to what they bring to the darker corners of the genre.
Also stepping up on this finale are Wallhack, Scurrow, CrucifyMe, Invert Era, Hexa, KL, LeStr, Cynical Gene, Sola and Freddy B. Each one brings their own flavour. There are halftime crushers, tech-stepping monsters, deep rollers and eerie minimal numbers. From murky warehouse moods to late-night headphone sessions, this VA taps into every pocket of dark Drum & Bass.
This is the final ‘Perspective’ release, but it is only the beginning of where the label is heading next. The trilogy might be ending, but the story is far from over. Phase Records DNB is already looking ahead to the next chapter, and it will be bigger, bolder and even more unpredictable.
